KITCHEN CABINET REFACING
Refacing cabinets means replacing existing doors and drawer fronts and applying a new surface on cabinet frames and panels. Doors and drawer fronts can be made of solid wood or engineered wood, with MDF as a core with a layer of painted or stained melamine. Cabinet frames are finished with the same material for a consistent appearance. In many cases, existing frames and panels can be saved and refinished with the same application as new components, doors, and drawer fronts which will bring substantial savings to the project, at least 20-30%. Old and worn drawer boxes can be replaced with new high-quality finished solid wood dove-tail maple drawer boxes.
Existing cabinets can be modified to accommodate new appliances, change cabinet layout to improve storage space, or to improve appearance. An Island can be added or rebuilt according to your new desire. Also, some other features can be added to improve storage space and convenience like half-moons, trash pull-outs, Cabinet and pantry pull-outs, and some decorative details to enhance your style like legs, half-legs, corbels, moldings, etc...
Old hardware can be replaced for soft-close hinges and drawer glides, new pulls or knobs can be added, or old ones can be re-installed.
